Are you going to Heaven?

I'm glad you clicked into this page because one of the most important things you will ever read is here. Let me start by asking, "Why did you click on this link? Is it because you wonder if you are going to heaven when you die or that you hope the way you are living now is good enough to grant you access to heaven?"

Let me share with you how I came to know for sure that I was on my way to heaven, and I hope that by sharing this you will be confident about your eternal home.

I grew up going to church. Every Sunday. Every Wednesday. I knew all the Bible stories and I was a really good kid. But I was lost. One night, my dad came up to me and asked me if I was saved and on my way to heaven. My initial reaction was, "Well yeah, I am." But I soon realized that if I were to die that night I would not be going upwards but downwards. Yes, I was on my way to hell.

My dad asked me a question that I will now ask you. Your answer to the question will help you determine if you really are saved from eternal damnation or not.

Here's the question:

Was there ever a time in your life where you asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins, cleanse your heart, and save you?

If your answer is no, like mine was at the time, then you are not on your way to heaven. But there is hope! God is love and He wants all to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

The only thing that separates us from God is our sin.

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Romans 5:12)

We were all born into sin, and God sees sin differently than we see it. He says that if I have hate in my heart towards someone, it is as though I have murdered them! He is holy and cannot have sin in His presence, therefore we must be cleansed from all our unrighteousness (sin) in order to stand clean before Him.

How do we do that? What did that eight year old girl do when faced with that important question from her dad?

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Anyone who believes that Jesus died for their sins by shedding His blood on the cross and being raised again SHALL be saved! It's as simple as that!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  (Romans 10:9)

Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins? Do you want a personal relationship with Him? Do you want to spend an eternity in heaven instead of hell?

Then pray something similar to this prayer, and trust in Christ to save you for all eternity:

Dear God,

I know that I am a sinner. I know there is no good deed I can do that will get me to heaven, but only through your Son Jesus dying on the cross for my sins can I be saved. So I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins and to come into my heart and save me! I will let you be Lord of my life, and I trust my eternal security in You alone.

Amen.

If you prayed something similar to this and have put your trust in Christ for your eternal home, congratulations! You are now a child of the King and have a life of adventure ahead! If you accepted Christ as your personal Savior today, please let me know! I would love to hear about it and pray for you on your new journey. Send your email to: tifflovesjewelry@gmail.com

God bless!
